Brand Refinery launch nationwide product idea competition

Innovation competition get’s off to a flying start

Project Hatchling is a nationwide product development competition designed to embrace and commercialise the best of British design and innovation. Brand Refinery are a partner to the competition and are supporting both the promotion of it to industry as well as participating in the judging process.

 

Susan Leaver, from The Turtle Mat Company, says: “We aren’t necessarily looking for a complete concept and would welcome applicants to enter even if their idea was in the early stages of development. Our project partners are able to support and help develop the right idea into a highly successful consumer product.”

 

The competition is open for entries from 1st April 2014, but has already achieved over 2,500 views on the you-tube channel as a result of the promotion of the competition through both social media and national press coverage.

 

WHY ENTER?

The winning entry will get the professional support required to develop, prototype and protect their product in a commercial deal with Turtle Mat to ensure they are rewarded for their ingenuity. Turtle Mat will also leverage its current retail network and direct online channels to launch the product to its 80,000 plus consumer base ensuring that the successful entrant will see their concept for sale on the high street.
